Ms. Jenn

Ms. Jenn is the Director of Journey Preschool. She has a Master's in Early Childhood Education and 15 plus years of experience. She is a member of the National Association of Family Child Care. She is also Nationally accredited for quality education. Jenn participates in the quality rating program for Maryland through Excels and is a level 5. She is also credentialed at a level 6. Jenn is passionate about early education as well as equity and social justice. She sits on two boards, one for the family child care association of Montgomery County as Social Media specialist and the other on RISE, a non-profit social justice foundation as treasurer.  Jenn is the mother of five fantastic children. In her spare time, she likes to play piano and ukulele, hike, and travel. 

Ms. Silvana

Ms. Silvana is the lead teacher of Journey Preschool. Silvana has over 20 years of experience in child care and education. She has taken all the training for her 90 hours of child development and is currently working on her CDA.  She is from Brazil and speaks Portuguese with the children. She has three grown children. In her spare time, she likes to cook, read, and volunteer.
