Journey Preschool Photo & Media Policy
Effective Date: June 1, 2022

Journey Preschool respects the privacy and dignity of every child and family in our program.

Photos and videos may occasionally be taken during classroom activities, special events, or preschool projects to document learning experiences and celebrate our preschool community.

Purpose of Media

Photos or videos may be used for:

• Classroom documentation

• Parent communication

• The preschool website

• Social media platforms

• Educational or promotional materials

These images help showcase the learning environment and experiences offered at Journey Preschool.

Parent Permission

Identifiable photos or videos of children will only be shared publicly with parent or guardian permission.

Children’s full names will not be publicly shared alongside images unless explicit written consent has been provided.

Protecting Children's Privacy

Journey Preschool will never share:

• A child’s home address

• Personal contact information

• Sensitive family information

All images will be used respectfully and in ways that reflect the preschool’s mission and educational environment.

Opt-Out Option

Families who prefer that their child not appear in photos or videos may notify Journey Preschool at any time.

Reasonable efforts will be made to respect these requests.
